The Core Group of Class 1949 Meets
Now in their mid 70s, the members of Class 1949 based in Manila, Philippines meet regularly. They meet for fun and camaraderie. They meet for good ole time's sake. They meet to assure other members that they are still around, hanging in there.
The Class 1949 core group also meets to welcome other '49ers coming back to the home land for a visit. What a nice treat to the 'balikbayans'!
The traditional Christmas Party - this is one meeting of the core group that is very well attended.
Thanks to the leadership of Justice Fermin Martin, Jr. and the active involvement of Belen Tan Gatue Medina, Conchita Torres Maceda, Josie Cruz Padua, Agustina Floro Urbano, Felicitas Buhain Carbonel, Josefina Alinsod Borja, Lourdes Fajutrao Florentino and many others, all these happenings are on-going.
